he means, when you press the power button, don't press it like you're turning it on, press it for a half second only.

Can I keep using OVI Store normally if I flash my phone? Especially, can I use Joikuspot?

why is it necessary to hard reset the phone before and after flashing ?also why to delete some folders from the card before flashing ?what will happen if these things are not performed ?

some cfw need that before flashing to get the maximum performance, if you want do it its ok that not make your phone bricked...
hardreset and formated micro just to get a clean phone.
mine never formated micro before flashing and sometimes not hardreset too.
formated micro for clean your phone from installed apps if you dont do it some apps might not works well so better formated or delete sys, system, private and resource.

yes mate. it has no effect on applications unless you directly affect it.

I just can't get this to work on my N97... I really wanted to try the hegazy-ultimate-final-cfw.

It all goes fine until it asks me to "press power on now". I've tried a quick tap (screen lights up), I've tried a long press (phone turns on), the result is always the same... "Searching for phone...Not found!!!".

J.A.F version 1.98.62, any suggestions? Is there another thread worth checking (this one seems to be 56 pages of people saying "Doesn't work!").
