Default Re: Flashing with JAF for Newbie

im getting this weird thing when trying to flash my 5800:

    Processing C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-356\RM356_31.0.008_020_xxx_U01.uda.fpsx...
    Rebooting...
    Finishing CMT session...
    Restarting CMT...
    Pooling phone...
    Phone not found...

And then my phone is dead!

go to here for security code http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=3636.0

for language problem you can download firmware fron navifirm or btusers that match with your product code and then flash with JAF maybe this solve your problem.

@prodigy are you sure flash your phone with v31.0.008 firmware
coz now we (allmost all 5800xm users) on v50 or v51 firmware.

your tutorial is awesome sir but i ahve some problem :
    i do this youers tutorial:

the golden rule to successful connection to jaf and flashing with it, is when you connect your phone to pc/laptop donot select "pc suite connection" popup in phone or even anything else . Just open jaf and do the following.

bb5>> tick "pro. manager" and top right hand side under "operations" click "service" and then click on left tab . If your product code and other details in those vacant places popups in some 6-7 secs then your fone is connected if not then your phone has still not established connection with jaf.

but in jaf this is "failed"
wat to do to connect my phone
it connects after hundreds of time
