Damnit! Trying to flash my 5230 with Eclipsev6 CFW - but no matter what I do, it fails. Dead mode -> fails to boot. not dead -> fails to reboot. Suggestions? I'm using a laptop with XP installed, and getting sick of it.

Tried it already over and over, with JAF found here and latest beta (which was pain in the a** to get to work) Will try with neighbours desktop later, might be something to do with USB.

could be. another thing to go for is while in dead mode, remove the battery, plug it in the usb. start jaf, do your thing then when it says "searching for phone", plug in the battery and wait for the "usb connected" sound. it should start flashing.

if that still doesn't work, try hard resetting your device first. let us know mate.

is rom patcher available on your applications menu? if it is, you may select installserver (install all apps) or open4all (view, edit system files and folders) you'd have to enable it first in xplore if you're using it in the options> show system files. show hidden files if you want to view the hidden folders.
