I have tried a CFW with this type of file version "V05" and din't change it. So dont change it and flash your phone with the provided files. (follow your modder's notice if renaming is applicable)
    Thanks,

    I have nokia 5230 rm 588, software version 51.0.002, custom version 51.0.002.c01.01.

    1. Can flashing make hd games run on s60v5 or other apps which were not compatible previously ?

    2. Is there any full proof method of recovering bricked phone?

    3. Can I reflash with my original firmware if I upgraded the phone with higher firmware version?

HD games... u must be dreaming :P

yea... u need jaf box which is available with nokia customer support so u go to them and they will unbrick it for you... u cant do it at home until have jafbox

u can flash with a ofw but it has to be as the same version or higher than your current firmware.. eg: ur flashing with v50 cfw... u can flash back a cfw or ofw of v50, v60... ie. v50+

can you please tell me one thing while flashing with cfw (any cfw) even if untouched, jaf firstly displays write result:1701 and then it keeps on showing erase result:1700 . And then flashing gets completed. But phone does not work. It keeps on rebooting itself. Many a times it happens but sometimes flashing process is completed correctly ( with the same files. But after many attempts). What is the matter and how to resolve it?
