    it only detected C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products

searching for JAF file save location of ini...

and when i "CHECK" use INI
there is no n97mini RM -555?

i just want to flash my n97 mini to thunderstruck
but i really dont know how to flash it at the first place
and i dont want to mess at my first try..

    can you please help me..

Or manually flash it using this method. Make sure to change the filename extension of your .c00 file to .c0r.

If your phone is connected in PC suite mode then you don't have to press the power button in between each selection you just click on the MCU, PPM, CNT, APE Variant and wait for the pop up window and then choose your file location and files according to this-

    1. MCU= your core

    2. PPM= rofs2

    3. CNT= rofs3

    4. APE Variant= UDA

Then click flash turn phone off and click ok on the pop up and press power button until it says phone found and wait until it says done ( roughly 1 min.- 1 1/2 min.)

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum, and have read almost all the hundred pages of the topic, but I didn't find a solution. I'm trying to bring back to life my very dead N96-1. Btw I'm a noob. So, I used JAF, in many possible options combinations. Tried flashing a hundred times, and the best I got until now is:

    Couple of errors:

    1) After following guide, there is no "Phoenix" folder in C:/>Program Files>Nokia

    2) JAF says P-Key Dongle not accessible and doesn't start up

    3) Phone doesn't seem to realise it's been plugged into PC

Any advice? Apart from don't buy Nokia ever again!

Thanks, I've installed Nokia PC Suite (7.1.180.46) which doesn't recognise phone.

Also when USB is connected and I go to Connectivity on phone, it says under USB "not connected".

I have installed Navifirm now but there are three seemingly identical options. My phone is a 5800 from Vodafone and there are more options for that further down the list, so am I ok to go for the 52.0.7 version if my current phone firmware is 52.0.007.397.07?
