    Hi, can i use this method to flash my nokia 5530?
    i've 5530 which i tried to update last month but forget to hard reset it before updating. it downloaded the update successfully but when restart to install update it shows "contact service provider" message. now i can't use this mobile at all. so i tried to use this method to flash my mobile but my pc has window 7 and i was unable to install JAF. please help on this.

    unable to install JAF or unable to run JAF?

    if its the later, check the JAF's properties by right clicking and tick "run as admin" and set compatibility

    I try to flash today with CFW (photon c6-03) but JAF dont recognize my phone, green buttons are MCU, PPU, APE... when i press power button this will appere ''searching phone...not found'', what i need to do?

    before start flashing make sure all driver installed properly, and your phone connect to pc and your pc recognize it with pc suite mode. make sure you close pc suite.
    then try again click flash button ( on fresh installation of jaf your phone might be not found but dont worry after 3-4times click flash button jaf will run proprly )
    rather not to say

    jaf is showing me a runtime c++ library error.....right after it detects my phone.....can anyone please help me...


    and sometimes...it exits after detecting my phone

    right click on mycomp->go to properties-> go to hardware->go to device manager->click on view->click on show on hiden device->
    go to ports(com&lpt)->
    uninstall jaf com port->go to universal serial bus controllers->

    uninstall jaf flasher interface. now its ok now connect it will install driver after that conect
    install jaf driver
    (Sorry for my bad english)

    n dont forget to set compatibility mode n run as admin

    i dont have these.....but i did try to set it to compatibility mode....still that didnt help me..
