True...personally though, If all you want from iPhone are games, then get an iPod Touch then an Android or SYmbian phone (whichever you'd prefer) and you'll get a better experience than buying an iphone which cant even multitask properly. You wont be losing battery due to games though since you have two devices.

Android is developing with an extreme speed - trying Hero some time ago says nothing about that state of affairs now. The modern Android phones, like Nexus One, Desire, Galaxy S are all getting OS 2.2. Try that for a week and you will be stunned with a difference it has from Symbian.

I've pointed out before - Nokia has failed to bring N8 sooner in the market. This should have happened like 6 months ago!
As a result, so many customers are lost to competition (including me...).
No wonder the CEO of Nokia has to go.

I've seen Android 2.2 on Nexus Oner, and it really looks good. That's it. The problem is looks isnt the be all and end all for me. If we're talking about looks then that's the best looking UI out there, and the most thumbable. The thing with me isnt the interface but what I can do with the phone (technically why I hate iPhone's control freaky people). The be all and end all for me is if it has the apps that I need. So far Google support in my country is shitty. Also, it seems that its easier to make custom apps for Symbian^3 than for Android, and the cross platform apps that will make its debut with MeeGo and Symbian^4 is what keeps me hanging on SYmbian.

I'm not bashing Google or anything, as I feel that its very good but its areas of limitations are the areas where I dont want to compromise.

    @chanchan05,

I can understand your remarks about iphone, but not about Android.
It is extremely easy to find the applications you need in Android (just use the Market). There are about 100k apps to chose from.

Coming from Symbian, I see only advantages, and to name a few:
internet browser is one of the best and never crashes,
there is always enough RAM (I have more than 100 apps),
the phone never crashes and is extremely speedy,
Wifi always woks on hotspots and never gets an error,
no need to go through the shitty Symbian procedure of signing apps to install them,
office documents including pdf reader are freely available for Android phones,
Many GPS navigation apps available including the free Google Maps,
Contacts, calendar and mail sync nicely offline and online,
Divx/Xvid avi videos play without any need to convert them first,
Tethering (using phones mobile network for PC) woks in one click,
All installed applications get automatic updates as soon as a new version comes out,
Huge amount of community of developers does all kind of CFW customizations,

I don't need to go on with this, but all the irritations and limitations I had with my Nokia 5800XM are now gone.

    agree with usta
but ram part is nokia problem.. they play with hardware. SAME cpu on diff phones has random clockings: 369, 434, 600, 680.. what is this play for? to show one's stupidity?
and ram.. one phone has 128, another 256.. LOL
instead of doing something with hardware part they introduce new symbian releases.. it's like me competing to get vista/7 runnin' on 384 mb ram & 1.5 ghz p4.. at least with my thing all is great.
