The virus wont do anything if you connect the infected USB to your phone.

HOWEVER! Once you connect your phone to the PC, the memories on the phone would then be exposed in a windows environment, and that is when the viruses may act to corrupt files.

As Zymesh said, use N8 to clean the virus before hand like I do with my linux live cd

not true, it has to access only via the pc suite or ovi suite interface which a virus is highly unlikely programmed to access. i know that when you access the files, it seems like windows explorer is accessing it directly, but it does not.

correct, in this case, it will read it as a raw memory card wherein any virus or worm will have access to it.

lesson here is to keep your pc clean from them. i haven't been infected with anything since 3 years ago.

    I've another question about OTG.
Is an update planed to bring FAT32 to the N8? Because many USB-Sticks have 8GB and more store. But N8 can only use FAT16-USB-Sticks for OTG and so the N8 can only use USB-Sticks with not more than 4GB storage.
