    Default Squishy screen?

One this I HATED about the N97 mini's screen was that everytime you would touch the screen you could feel the screen touching the actual backlit screen, hope that makes sense. It felt squishy and was super annoying, so with that being said the n8 has a capacitive glass screen, that means it should feel as good and smooth as an iphone or nexus one, correct?

The n97 screen is like that because its a resistive screen. It works by having two screens press against each other, and the spark generated by the two screens pressing allows the technology to detect where on the screen you pressed.

A capacitive screen on the other hand uses the electroconductivity of your skin to detect where you pressed, so it doesnt have the two screens pressing against each other.

Its weird cause my satio didnt feel like that at all, you did have to press harder than normal though.
