    Default Nokia N8 Applications/Speakers

okay so I'm not all smart with all these numbers/letters for the specs sheet for this phone lol....i'm a newbie but I LOVE where this phone is going....I saw the HD video/pics..beautiful. I have the Nokia N97 but I loved the speakers on the N95 8GB...what will this be like?? anyone know comparing to the other spec sheets of the N95/97....

and another thing...I read that anyone who can design a webpage would be able to make an application for this phone...does this mean that they will have much more open apps and better applications like the iPhone does...because i honestly don't like the iphone but I gotta admit, they have some pretty cool/hardcore applications...I just want the same thing in the Nokia N8

From what I can tell the N8 will have a Boosted Class D mono speaker, which is a bit disappointing. Also on the apps front, I'm not sure if its a good thing or not making it that easy to create apps, sure you'll get lots of apps, but look at the amount of drivel flash apps out for S60v5 and you get the idea of the likely outcome, lots of really worthless apps and not a lot of quality. If Nokia wan't decent apps and games on the N8 then it needs to encourage developers to invest time and money developing for its platform, this means we will likely end up with the same old java games and flash based junk that we've always had.

They already did mate, there's a post about this earlier, saying that if you know how to design a web page, you are now a Symbian Developer!

Thats only Web RunTime apps (Widgets).
What I'm really forward to are QT apps though.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qt_(framework)

Read what's QT. Basically QT is the language used for various PC programs, and one of the most used is VLC. Imagine if someone manages to rewrite the QT of VLC for Symbian^3...That would be f*cking awesome! Play movies of all formats!

Oh yeah, Skype on PC uses QT as well.

Why do you need stereo speakers anyway, get a hifi system and connect via bluetooth,
or get a bluetooth audio player in your car, and you'll get great music.

Nobody appreciates those weirdos walking around with their music playing for everyone to hear.
