And which phone does? AFAIK only Nokia N900 has full flash support till now, although Android should get it in next version.

Anyway i don't watch videos on my phone that often, maybe 10 times in a year that i have my 5800, so it's not such a big deal for me. I prefer to watch movies on widescreen tv, music videos and youtube kind of stuff i don't watch at all.

Oh and btw, some online porn does work on Nokia 5800

Now that the phone has Hardware acceleration for graphics and video decoding. I can't think of any reason why CorePlayer won't get ported and optimized.

I agree but the authors over at core are some of the slowest developers I have ever seen. So don't count on them. by the time they have something for you its likely you will be on another device. remeber this phone is not the first to have 3D graphics acceleration. Every S60 v5 phone Sony Has made has it so the guys over at Core should have made their move already.

As to the phones that do have Native support for DivX there are quite a few but only one Symbian S60 V5 device has it. The i8910 (AKA) the Samsung Omnia HD which in my opinion is a better choice than the N8 because it already has most of the N8's key selling features plus DivX. Considering its older you can pick one up today for a low price & with the money you save you can pop for a 32GB micro sd card making it no contest. Samsung's 1st gen S60 V5 phone just beat Nokias 3rd gen on their own turf. Take a bow

Phil Peso? Its 370 euro before taxes, so 23k. Then you add the stupid import taxes and E-VAT, it's likely to sell around 28k.

is that Bias? May I remind you the I8910 is more in the league with the N900 proving that Samsug was 1st to market with a superior product and has since moved on while Nokia has not even released this yet. that said, I never play favorites. I simply acknowledge accomplishments since it's just a phone.

i guess it really depends on a person. why do people buy a mac? or a dell? or an acer? i have a self built computer which outplays many of their high end systems and it won't even break a sweat.

    i guess it's brand loyalty.

The i8910 is too HUGE. N8 has a far better camera and flash. It has S^3, a faster processor, Digital Dolby Sorround and a lot more new stuff. It would have more themes made for it after a short amount of time unlike the i8910, more people would go for it thus having a great community like here where there are a lot of 5800 owners, if you have a problem, its likely that a member experienced it too and can help you. Ive heard i8910 users ranting that Samsung has poor support and that they left out the i8910. I dont think ive seen a sole store selling Samsung gadgets and other stuff, when warranty is over, i would find it pretty hard to get it repaired unlike Nokia where there are a lot of NC Centers and repair shops in malls. Repair shops may and will repair it but it usually would cost more. The i8910 is an old device and the N8 is new and by the looks of it, the N8 has a better price to spec ratio

I guess its just by preference

I've watched some videos of this device on youtube and it seems harsh and very non-fluid. The UI better get improvements or I'm having second thoughts on this device.
