    Default N900 or N97

    Hi all

I have been using a N97 for some time and am rather happy with it except that I find it a little slow, less memory than the N900

So I'm thinking about changing it to a N900, but the main question is : is it faster, much faster ?

I use the following progs. Gravity (twitter), Profimail (email), Handysafe (password, card details etc) Facebook, I know tha Gravity and Profimail and Handysafe won't run on the N900 (shame as they are really very good) are there other free or paying programs as good

Any advice would be nice, thanks

Nokia N97 without a doubt is a rather slow phone and the N900 will run circles around it in a competition. Another upcoming phone from Nokia is set to be released in early July and you might want to check it out. It's the Nokia N8 and I've heard that it's 180% faster than the N97

    n900 is faster than n97.. processor 600Mhz vs 434Mhz
RAM 256 MB vs 128 MB

i have a n900 now and was using the n97 before...

the n900 is so much faster! even before overclocking it to 850 Mhz it was like day/night compared to the n97! i really started to get crazy with the n97 after the last major fw update! after that there was no sense in using the navigation anymore...so the whole phone made no sense for me anymore!

    Hi

The N8 is rather nice as it's fast but I want a real keyboard rather than a on screen one, this rules out the I Phone which I do not like anyway, I must admit I like Nokia products as well, maybe I'l wait to see what come out in the megoo line

The upcoming lineup for this year is the N8 and the N9, The latter is supposed to be the first Meego device from Nokia. rumor has it that it has the same form factor of the N900 (don't know about thickness but height and width) There is also talk that it will (finally) support a capacitive screen with multi touch. I think you should wait and see what exactly the N9 will offer
