Default How to change Boot Screen - terminal

First you need rootsh to gain root so download the app from app manager.
In terminal type sudo gainroot to become root and have access to "everything".
Lets backup the first original video with hands from nokia.
    Type cd /usr/share/hildon-welcome/media
Rename the file mv Hands-v32-h264.avi Hands-v32-h264_.avi

Before you put your video in your phone, rename it from pc with the name Hands-v32-h264.avi like the original welcome video from nokia.
Now put it on Video clips folder. Open terminal and type cd /home/user/MyDocs/.videos then type cp Hands-v32-h264.avi /usr/share/hildon-welcome/media

    Reboot!

If you want you can try my video. Its vegeta saying its over 9000!

Ooooor you could install bootscreen manager (I believe it's in extras or extras-testing) and disable bootscreens, queue up multiple bootscreens or randomize your bootscreen from your bootscreen collection.
