Default iPhone & iPad games gone free

Today’s list features a wide variety of single and multiplayer games for iPhone and iPad, including some entertaining retro-inspired ones. It also features a couple of handy apps for iPhone and iPod touch users.

AppTools 100 in 1 ($.99 -> Free): The name says it all. Contains 100 utilities within a single app. Everything from rulers to baby name generators is in here.

AppTools 100 in 1 is available for free for a very limited time. It has a three- star rating.

Curious Facts for the Factual Intellectual ($.99 -> Free): A collection of intriguing, fascinating, and hard to believe bits of knowledge intended to make you think and entertain. All facts are available even without an internet connection, and each one has been checked for accuracy and grammatical errors. Features custom artwork, ability to mark favorites, and free lifetime updates.

Curious Facts for the Factual Intellectual is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating.

Flubby Physics ($.99 -> Free): A physics-based puzzler where you must help the baby flubbies escape the clutches of the evil ghosts. Tap colored blocks to remove the evil ones from the screen, but you must keep the green flubbies safe. The game features 40 levels, and OpenFeint integration.

Flubby Physics is available for free today only (7/19). It has a four-star rating.

Helichicken ($1.99 -> Free): A doodle-style game that’s really a collection of four different endless games. Climb, swim, jump, and fall in order to get the highest score possible before running out of lives. The game features OpenFeint integration as well.

Helichicken is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.

GooFight ($.99 -> Free): A neat little game where you simply choose two words, names, or phrases and search to see which is the most popular on Google. Results of your searches can be shared on Facebook.

GooFight is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It doesn’t currently have an average rating.

iAntiviruz ($.99 -> Free): Navigate the infectious trail the virus has left behind via left and right on-screen buttons in order to clean up after it. Certain items need to be gathered, while others need to be avoided. The game features OpenFeint integration as well.

iAntiviruz is available for free today only (7/19). It has a four-star rating.

BomberDove ($.99 -> Free): Doves are bombing (you know what it means) from above and you must dodge their waste by tilting your device side to side while shooting at them with your slingshot via taps. The game features three modes of play, numerous achievements to unlock, and OpenFeint integration.

BomberDove is available for free today only (7/19). It has a three-star rating.

    Universal:

Digital Heist ($1.99 -> Free): An avoidance game that features old school graphics. Use touch, tilt, or keypad controls to navigate your way around the walls and obstacles in order to collect the money and make it back to your starting point before time runs out. The game features 24 levels, and four levels of difficulty.

Digital Heist is available for free today only (7/19). It has a four-star rating.

    iPad only:

Globetrotters ($.99 -> Free): An intense multiplayer game where you must jump from planet to planet in order to catch the most diamonds. Play with one to four computer or human controlled players on the same iPad. Tapping in your colored section will make your astronaut’s jet pack light up and fly to another planet. Planets slowly disintegrate as you walk on them, so make sure to depart before they disappear.

Globetrotters is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.

Gurlz Vs Robots ($.99 -> Free): Another retro-like multiplayer arcade game. In this one you are required to guide robots to escape pods to save them from the girlz. To do so, you are required to touch and drag arrows onto the map in order to direct the robots. The girlz will follow the arrows as well, so you must be fast. Collect as many robots, and as few girls, as possible before the launch timer hits zero. The only major downside to this one is that it can’t be played against AI.

Gurlz Vs Robots is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating
