The folks from iFixit flew all the way to Melbourne, Australia to put their hands on the new iPad and guess what they did first? They tear it apart!

Teardown process is not completely finished but theyve already uncovered some interesting details about the latest Apple tablet. According to iFixit the model number found on the back of the 9.7-inch Retina display responds as a Samsung-made LCD panel, the A5X processor was also made by Samsung. The new iPad uses a Broadcom BCM4330 802.11 a/b/g/n MAC/Baseband/Radio with Integrated Bluetooth 4.0 HS and FM Transceiver and Qualcomm MDM9600 3G and 4G wireless modem.
