Since we are discussing here the specs and not performance (which is measured by benchmarks), I've slightly modified the topic title.

    @pirates_killer,
LOL at that classic old PC...

Mine is a Notebook: DELL Studio 1749
    CPU: INTEL® CORE™ i5-520M
GPU: 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
    RAM: 4GB
    HDD: 1TB (2x 500GB)
    OS: Win7 Professional 64bit
    Screen: 17.3”
    WIFI: b/g/n
    etc..etc..etc...

It is a balanced notebook that has no problem running heavy apps and games. If needed the HD5650 can be overclocked very easily.
However, without any overclocking, games like Battlefield: Bad Company 2, CoD Modern Warfare 2, Risen, or World in Conflict play very smooth on it.
    I'm very pleased with it.

    I have two here
    My lil baby:
    Intel Atom N450 @1,67GHz
GPU: Intel GMA 3150, integrated into the CPU
    RAM: 1GB DDR2 @667MHz
    HDD: 250GB @7200RPM
no optical drive (but I have an external one from LG, DVD DL, DVD RAM, so all one could want)
    Screen: 10.1" @1024x600 pixel
    WiFi: a/b/g/n
    WWAN: Huawei E161
    OS: Linux Mint 9 Isadora
It's a damn good working machine and following me almost everywhere.

    My big old brute:
    Intel Core Duo T2300 @2x1,67GHz
    GPU: Nvidia Geforce 7400 Go
    RAM: 2x1GB DDR2 @533MHz
    HDD: 100GB @4200UPM
used to have a DVD RAM capable drive, but it broke a few years ago so it has to share the external LG if necessary
    Screen: 15.4" @1280x800
    WiFi: a/b/g +Bluetooth
    OS: Windows Media Center Edition
Used to be my mobile machine, but it's old now. The mainboard has a hairfracture, making it very sensitive toany kind of movement - it only is a media computer now

A third laptop is slumbering in the shelf, but it's only a wreck, awaiting disposal
