BlackBerry is primarily known for its ability to send and receive (push) Internet e-mail, wherever mobile network service coverage is present.
BlackBerry is mainly a messaging phone with auto-text, auto-correct, text prediction, support for many languages, keyboard shortcuts, text emoticons, push email, push Facebook and Myspace notifications, push instant messaging with BlackBerry Messenger, Google Messenger, ICQ, Windows Live messenger and Yahoo Messenger, threaded text messaging. BlackBerrys have good battery life, and because of compression, has less data transfer, while supplying the same information.

...and I don't like such boring phones.

all these typing helpers such auto-... etc. (simple words: T9) are useless. in real life you whether should talk in old-english way or to teach the 'prediction' every slang word. by slang i don't mean only the youngsters but also some general words which are common for every nowadays 30+ human.
push services well what's so cool when you can just sign in to facebook with powerful mobile browser instead? and have native messengers apps

my personal relation to berry is positive though. at least i consider it better than iphone. well, i just don't like iphone.. but because of stupid service which are such a core for blackberry we should use some E72 instead cuz service isn't present in many countries..

all these can be easily achieved through a much better smartphone e.g. Nokia E5-00 and the proper installation of applications that are required for the functionality.

the few features that are exclusive to a blackberry are not even available in many countries which drags this down a lot and to be completely honest, not worth it.

not to mention you're paying a huge amount for a device that doesn't have that much in terms of hardware.
