o.O then you must use it a lot or ur battery is dying... I usually charge mine every 2nd day or so, sometimes every 3rd if I don't use wifi or speak on the phone that much.

I ordered a new unlocked Acer Liquid A1 from UK for £223.12 (€257.59)... It's getting Froyo and runs the same snapdragon found in sgs and desire, tho underclocked to 768mhz. And has a 800*480 screen (but tft and 256k colors). Neither is usually found in phones of this price range.

So far what I've read about it (without having it myself) is that the battery is kind of bad - lasts for about a day, and it's up to luck whether the snapdragon will run 1ghz clock speed stable or not.

edit: My unit should be arriving tomorrow sadly I have to wait till weekend before I have time to play with it...

    no problemo

off topic: I should visit Cork sometime... Been in Limerick for two months now and still haven't visited Cork nor Galway :/

A lil more info on the A1 is that it has "only" 256mb of ram... the slightly updated version "Liquid E" has 512 ram and ships with android 2.1(which is available to A1 as well) but I didn't consider that to be worth paying a 100€ more for it... They'll both get 2.2 anyways (hopefully soon cuz there are leaked versions out already).

oh too bad (oh yeah I checked that the official ginger req is 512mb ram, tho if it leaks for liquid E it should be possible to port it to A1, or at least I hope so)

I'm from Finland but studying in UL for the semester.

Those requirements were debunked long ago
I just would like more than 300mb RAM
