this oxygen ROM, what you are using.. is it available also for the desire S?
Oxygen ROM is available for the following phones:

    Google Nexus One
    Google Nexus S - Google Nexus S 4G
HTC Desire GSM - HTC Desire CDMA
    Samsung Galaxy S II

It is like CM7, but with a better battery life and less unnecessary apps.

Less built-in apps means more space on /system partition, which doesn't help to create more space for apps automatically. Only after re-partitioning the internal memory you can allocate more space to /data partition and have more place for the apps. This is easily done on rooted phones.

Oxygen new ROM versions are no longer posted in XDA, because the developer wants to have his own clean forum (just like Cyanogen). They say the reason is that the development threads at XDA get all the time cluttered by nonsense talk from newbees...

Anyway, you will find the Oxygen forum here: http://forum.oxygen.im/
    ROM releases are here: http://forum.oxygen.im/viewforum.php?id=7
