Default HTC Desire texting / writing.

Hello, I just switched phone from Nokia 5800 to a Desire and I wonder if there's any way to change the layout of textmessaging / writing on phone. I don't wanna have to spin the phone to the side to make the QWERTY keyboard to become landscape because the sensor doesn't always react and it makes me crazy. I want a similar keyboard to Nokia 5800 ;x

So my question is: Are there any application or setting that makes the keyboard to always become landscape everytime I wanna write something?

    Regards Fearzie.

I have switched to Desire from 5800XM as well.
The phone reacts quickly to the turn and produces the full QWERTY, which I'm most comfortable with. Maybe you should calibrate the G sensor?
