    Default Nexus One First impressions

Ok people I sold my Aino and bought a Nexus One!!
    Here are my first impressions:
-Screen is marvelous! It's a great change from the 240x420 resolution of aino...960x800!
-It's Amoled but it's well usable under sunlight (autolight off, 100%)
-Speaker for ringtones is not as weak as people tend to say, turn them to mono and amplify under an audio editor like Adobe Audition. I am using now the Overclocking kernell which boost the volume...it's pratically as loud as the Aino now
-Camera is very good in outdoor and macro situations, indoor it gets blurry. I recommend using Desire Camera app (ROOT needed) for lot more settings and higher resolution for video recording
-Google market is full of free interesting stuff

    What I didn't like:
-My network provider hot line is 111 and I can't call 111 because it's set as emergency call
-Couldn't not manage to make my WAP GPRS to work (but it should)
    -Alarm didn't wake me up

Iphone is a turtle if you compare it.
I just tried Raging Thunder 2...better than PSP gaming

Interesting. SE X10 is almost identical phone, but Phat has tried it and said it was too slow and sluggish. Perhaps, the newest OS and the absence of extra layers (as in X10) make the Nexus One a very fast phone.

HTC has more experience in Android world, they know how to use the full potential of their hardware

I guess, we will know it better when X10 gets also v2.1.
How is the video playback? GPS? Color brightness of the screen? Does Android OS feel logical for you compared to other OSs you had?

I thought you'd ordered the Desire?

Not yet, but it is my choice if I place an order these days.
Meanwhile, new competitors are also around the corner. Specifically, Samsung Galaxy S is a very interesting competitor for Nexus One and Desire.
I'll wait for a little bit longer.

I didn't try GPS yet, the screen is as responsive as my ipod touch g2.
The OS is very logical and practical as SE phones
